Rockin? the Village Bannock Lady style

Althea Guiboche, better known as the Bannock Lady for feeding the less fortunate in Winnipeg, wanted to do something more than just cook food.

"Its important for the community that can't afford to attend concerts to have access to our own musicians and culture present here in Winnipeg," said Guiboche. ?This concert is a way of the community coming together to celebrate each other."

While her concert features mainly local singers, songwriters and groups, Guiboche has also invited Indigenous music legend Keith Secola, best known for his song "Indian Car." He is donating his performance to the festival.

She wanted to thank all the volunteers and sponsors for making this event possible.
